EMERGENCY PROCUREMENT FOR ADMINISTRATION AND OPERATIONS AGREEMENT AND AGREEMENT FOR EMERGENCY SHELTER DURING WINTER MONTHS
The City of Gallup, New Mexico has determined that the following emergency exists. The administration and operation of the existing Gallup Detox Center is needed due to a thirty (30) day written termination notice received from the Navajo Nation pursuant to the Memorandum of Agreement between the Navajo Nation, the City of Gallup, and McKinley County. Letter of termination was received on September 3, 2015; copy under "Related Document" below.
The existence of the emergency condition creates an immediate and serious need for services that cannot be met through normal procurement methods and the lack of which would seriously threaten:
1) the functioning of government;
2) the preservation or protection of property; or
3) the health or safety of any person
A draft contract is attached under "Related Documents" below that shall be used to submit proposal. We will be accepting proposed contracts up to time and date of closing as stated; review and negotiations of responsive proposals received will be expedited thereafter.
A site visit is scheduled on September 14, 2015 at 10:00 am and is recommended of all potential providers.
Any questions or concerns shall be made in writing to contact person below by 5:00 pm on September 14, 2015; a response with answers will be sent to all offerors that made intent to submit a proposal by 2:00 pm on September 15, 2015.
