Re: Emergency Project; I.H. Ford's Hwy 66 Addition Alley Sewer Improvements-Project No. JU1653
To Whom It May Concern:
The City of Gallup, New Mexico is requesting sealed bids from interested bidders for an emergency construction project; I.H. Ford's Hwy 66 Addition Alley Sewer Improvements until the hour of 2:00 p.m., local time, December 27, 2016 at the office of the Procurement Manager at City Hall, 110 W. Aztec, Gallup NM. Bids will be opened, read aloud, and tabulated at that time. No bids will be received or considered if received after the time stated above.
This project will consist of installation of approximately 260 feet of 8 inch SDR-35 PVC sewer line, the installation of three (3) new 4’ diameter pre-cast concrete manhole units, the installation of one (1) 6’ diameter pre-cast concrete tie-in manhole, and the installation of a grease interceptor. The installation of four (4) new 4” SDR-35 sewer service connections. Removal and replacement of concrete, curb & gutter, and sidewalk. Removal of asphalt and replacement with concrete pavement will be required. Removal and replacement of chain link fencing, concrete slab and shed will be required. Traffic control will be required. Contracting an independent laboratory for materials testing will be required. This project is located in City of Gallup Right-of-Way, Easements and adjacent property and Hwy NM 118 (Hwy “66”) highway Right-of-Way in the City of Gallup, NM.

Plans, specifications, and bidding documents may be obtained from DePauli Engineering and Surveying., 307 S. 4th Street, Gallup, NM 87301, (505) 863-5440 upon deposit of $250.00 made payable to DePauli Engineering & Surveying, LLC., all of which will be refunded upon return of the documents within ten (10) days after bid opening.
This project is an emergency project, and as such will have an accelerated schedule.
