Breast Cancer Awareness Month

If you are age 40 and over and have not had your annual mammogram screening, RMCHCS’ healthcare team encourages you to do so. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this is an excellent time to get a mammogram screening.

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer affecting women. An estimated one in eight women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime. Annual mammogram screenings, especially if you are 40-plus or at risk for developing breast cancer, are the best tool for early cancer detection. Early detection can save lives.

In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness month, RMCHCS is offering mammogram screenings, Monday – Thursday, 7:30am – 5pm throughout the month of October.

  • The fee is $75 for patients without insurance or for those who wish to pay out of pocket.
  • Patients with insurance are welcome.
  • If patients have had a prior mammogram screening taken at an institution other than RMCHCS, please bring a copy of the image to the appointment.

Call 505-863-7015 to make an appointment.
