The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, is holding a public meeting to introduce the project, present the preliminary design options, and receive public input for a bridge replacement at milepost 0.12 on NM 566. Key project objectives include providing an improved bridge over the Rio Puerco and BNSF railway, improving safety for highway users, providing improved pedestrian and bicycle access, avoiding right-of-way impacts, and maintaining traffic during construction.
The meeting will begin with an open house to talk about the project details and answer questions with the NMDOT Project Team followed by a presentation. Your attendance and input is important to helping the NMDOT move forward with the project development.
