The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Division is charged with the identification, collection
and maintenance of key geographic data within the city. GIS combines data such as E-911 Addressing, utilities, infrastructure, buildings, land records, geographic features and topography, demographics and others in a way that is useful to government and community leadership. GIS data is also an essential resource for economic development. GIS data is used by several city departments, including General Services, Utilities, Planning, Public Works, and the City Attorney’s Office. Our GIS Division also works with its counterparts at the McKinley County GIS Center.
We are located at 110 W. Aztec Ave., on the second floor. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact Casey Yazzie, GIS Technician, at (505) 863-1307.
